(Holly Springs, NC). Bobby started playing Trombone when he was 9 years old, taking lessons from a professional trombone player.  By high school, he was playing in the jazz band and the wind ensemble.  After high school, Bobby went to NC State to study Engineering.  He then started singing in his church choir, where he also led a brass quintet.  In August 2024, he was asked to record for his daughter and son-in-law’s band, Family Obligation.  With renewed interest in playing, Bobby started looking for a band.  He joined the Castaways in November 2024.  Bobby is looking forward to entering this new phase of his life playing with the Castaways.
