(Kernersville, NC/Calabash, NC) Music and entertainment has always been a part of Richard’s life.  Growing up in Winston-Salem, NC he began taking piano lessons at 8 yrs old as well as saxophone thru his Jr and Sr High years.  He attended music programs at both Salem College and NC School of the Arts. At an early age he began playing and touring with bands including the Alpacas, Smyle, June Rise and the Legacy Motown Revue. He has recorded many songs including beach music’s Cool Me Out, Do Ya Wanna and Meet Me with Your Black Drawers On.  Richard has had the good fortune to do shows with artist including David Allen Coe, The Four Freshman, Archie Bell, Greg Hall, Rich Fagan and William Bell.  When not performing Richard enjoys sports and spending time with his family.
