(Burlington, NC)  Jason grew up in a very musical family so it was inevitable that one day he would find his calling into the music world.  At age 6 he got his first pair of sticks and soon there after a snare drum.  From there the story continues to this day.  Growing up in the heyday of MTV, it was easy to emulate the drummers on the TV screen.  And by taking lessons and studying the different styles and techniques, he was able to mix a little of each one together and create a style of his own from playing all percussion instruments in middle and high school, Jason went on to playing in local and regional bands in the mid 90’s.  Playing everything from Big Band Jazz, to touring with a Van Halen tribute band, Jason eventually found himself immersed in the world of Beach Music with The Castaways. On his 3rd tour with The Castaways after a brief pause, Jason is again behind the kit and keeping the groove going.
